Supporting our kids

International Night

Save the Date for Cashell's 1st Annual International Night on Monday October 21st from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.  Cashell family country "Ambassadors" will present educational displays about countries they represent while teaching others about their cultures. Attendees will learn about cultures from around the world through free food, fashion, crafts, and live cultural performances. Children will collect stamps for their Cashell Passport, earn prizes, and much more!

We also need your night to help make International Night a successful event.

Are you and your child interested in being International Night Family Ambassadors, performing, modeling in the Global Fashion Show, or hosting a cultural activity (e.g. henna, hair braiding or Chinese calligraphy)? Volunteer opportunities available! Complete the attached registration form or click here to sign up.

For questions, contact Sharon Thomas, Alex Makris, or Maria Fraggetta or email

Fun, growth, enrichment...

MCPS' Cashell Elementary School is a National Blue Ribbon School, with high achievement scores…but that’s not what defines us. Our PTA works closely with our teachers, administrators, and community to make Cashell a lively, supportive, and enriched learning environment (…and yes, us parents/guardians manage to have some fun along the way, too). Join us in making this year an even more fruitful one for our kids.

5th Grade Promotion Ceremony, 2019

As we welcome our fresh crop of Cashell Cougars into Kindergarten in the fall of 2019, we bid adieu to our rising 6th graders, who received a heart-warming and touching “Moving On” ceremony. Many thanks to Mrs. Jones, the Cashell staff, and the PTA for making it all happen!

Stay tuned for more exciting news about the upcoming year!
